Teething?!

My 3 month old has needed to be held constantly the past few days and just cranky. I know it is normal for a baby to want to be held but this is extreme. Today, I saw this on her gum as she was laughing. Does this look like a tooth coming through?!

Doesn’t look like a tooth, could be an Epstein pearl.
My daughter had signs of teething on an off since 3.5 months, could even see the centre bottom two teeth almost poking through. They didn’t actually cut until she was 7 months 11 days 🤷🏻‍♀️

Normally the bottom front two teeth are the first to come in so I’d say that isn’t s tooth. He could be showing signs of teething though. My daughter started showing signs around 3 months but didn’t actually cut a tooth until 8 months.

Could it be like a canker sore? Like maybe she scratched her gum with her fingernails or something and it has turned into a little sore as it heals?
