I’m currently making up the guest list for my baby shower. My brother in law and his fiancé have been pretty horrible to my husband’s entire family (including my husband and I) so I don’t really want to invite them. On multiple occasions I have been the bigger person and included them/let go of what they did because they’re family, but I always end up disappointed and hurt. They are now ignoring my husband and I. My BIL is now starting to talk to my in-laws (his parents) again so I’m wondering whether it will hurt my in-laws if I don’t invite them? I think it may hurt my husband and I more to have them there OR simply hear nothing but fake apologies that they can’t make it. I want to be selfish and not invite them but I guess I’m wondering whether I should just bite my tongue (yet again) and extend the invite ?
