So frustrated..
So I am 35 weeks with baby #2. Since 34 weeks I have been having contractions, cramps, and tons of back pain. I went to L&D a week ago because of everything and was monitored for a couple of hours. Let me back up some and say at 22 weeks when I was having bad cramps, my doctor told me I was 1cm dilated. I was checked twice at the hospital and was told that I am not dilated at all? Ummm... Didn't know it worked that way, but what do I know.... Anyways... My doctor decided that I was okay to go home with a sleeping pill to sleep through my contractions because is was passed 2 in the morning at this point and I haven't been able to sleep... Well, a couple days later of all of this I go to my follow up doctors appointment and I was told that I am still not dilated... Like okay???? He also told me that I am unfortunately one of those people who is going to have contractions all the way up to delivery. I feel so frustrated because one, I have a history of preterm labor and I feel very much brushed off, and two, I am still in so much pain and struggling to function and do anything. When we asked him what I can do all he said was don't get constipated, take it easy, and drink lots of fluids... Thanks doc... 😭
