Question

So I'm 14 and looking for a job... (In Colorado you can get a job at 14) I can't really fond any and I babysit all the time,  but I want something with a steady pay and where I won't be worried that someone won't pay me(it's happens 3x before) I have been looking and I don't know what exactly to look for. Please help!

Well, I think it’s great that you’re 14 and already looking for a job! Congratulations! Unfortunately, if you live in the United States, you usually can’t legally hold a retail job (Starbucks barista, McDonalds Cashier, Walmart/Target/Barnes and Noble, etc. Associate, waitress, etc.) until you’re 16 years of age. There are many child working laws in place that forbid a certain age range and # of work hours. Your best bet right now until you turn 16 is to keep on babysitting, ask your friends, family, neighbors if they need a pet sitter, walker, lawn work done, babysitting, etc. I was the same at your age and I know how much it sucks! You can also open up a Poshmarket or Depop to sell items that you no longer want or use to make extra cash on the side! I hope this helps. Good luck!
