Lump???

I’ve recently had really itchy armpits and I’ve woken up this morning to a rock hard lump under my armpit. You can’t see it I can just feel it. Mum said to wait for AF to turn up and go doctors but I’m really scared 😟! Does anyone know what it could be???

Could be a lymph node that has been enlarged due to an infection or irritation from shaving; or even an ingrown hair. But best to see your doctor for proper diagnosis.

Could be an abscess. I had one when I was younger, due to using a dull razor. Because I waited too long to tell my mom it got huge & I had to go to the doctor & they had to cut it open & squeeze all this nasty stuff out. VERY painful!
