i was told a lot of things about hormonal BC and weed. it was always “ive been smoking for years and have been on bc for years and i’m still good/no pregos” but i would like to understand the scientific facts about why weed is okay with BC or if it actually is not okay.

i have read that THC failed to metabolize the enzymes from the BC. on the other hand, CBD showed to bring with the enzymes with estrogen.

What does that mean then? Does it mean nothing and your good to go with birth control’s effectiveness?

i really want to understand in detail the interactions of bc and weed. please let me know if you have some interesting knowledge! i am open to reading what all of you have to say!
