Which hurt more ?

Everyone's different so due to expierence which hurt more for you ? The contractions or actual birth ?

Contractions are way more painful than the giving birth. Pushing is a huge relief and helps so much with the pressure of baby and the ring of fire really doesn't last long.

Contractions until I got the epidural, giving birth took less then five mintues and I only had to push a couple times and she slide out.

After birth aka the healing process!!! I tore badly with my daughter and no one told me that you have contractions after you have your baby-- it's your uterus shrinking back to normal size and it's SUPER painful.

Contracts and when they induce your labor they don't tell u about having possible contraction for about a day or two after its horrible

My last epidural only took to one side of my body, so I felt everything on my right side. It is definitely the contractions that hurt more, but the most uncomfortable feeling is the feeling that you have to push. It didn't hurt me, just pressure and waiting for the dr to be ready and giving the okay was the worst part of the whole thing. In my opinion anyway

I got an epidural so my contractions before that hurt WAY worse than the actual birthing part!! Giving birth was a breeze and only took 10 minutes of pushing!

The contractions were brutal, I was induced so that speeds everything up though I guess. I'm due with #3 in February and this is what still scares me... Odd, but when you have to pee after you have your baby! Omg, for about 2 wks after I gave birth it would sting sooo friggin bad whenever I had to go, I found myself not drinking much so that I wouldn't have to go! It was like I tore along the inside, it was brutal :( not looking forward to that again! Sorry if tmi!
