Excited for labor?

Anyone else excited for labor? I know that sounds weird. 😂 At first I was really scared/nervous thinking about labor, but now, I almost feel excited thinking about it. Not sure if it’s because I realize it’s the final step before I get to meet my sweet girl, or what. 😆🤷🏼‍♀️

I totally am. I was with my first too. I wasn’t nervous at all. My nurses kept saying I was the happiest woman in labor they had ever met 😂 after the epidural of course

I get excited for it like I get excited about running marathons: at the start line I’m a little nervous, then I get a burst of energy, somewhere during the race I wonder why the 🤬 I would voluntarily do this, then the finish is WONDERFUL 🙌🏼🥰

yes!!! i think about it ALL the time. i’m ready for the good, bad, and ugly! i think when you understand and accept it’s going to be intense, transformative, and painful at times, you can move on to focusing on the other aspects. i am weirdly excited & can’t wait. 😳😬🤓

Nope... But I've had two non medicated labor and deliveries. Haha. I'm excited for the baby and there is some adrenaline that comes when you realize you're in labor, but I'm not looking forward to transition with glee 😂

Yes! It’s my first and I’m planning an unmedicated birth. I’m looking at it like I do any big athletic event...excited and a bit anxious all at once because I know it will be a big challenge.

I’m going to be all alone when I go into labor. So I am Not excited I’m a nervous wreck ! Lol 
I get excited at the thought of holding my baby and not having to deal with the worries anymore but not for labor oh no. Lol

Me! Not really nervous about labor at all, my first delivery went well and being worried doesn’t help. But I’m very excited to meet my baby in 10-12 weeks!!

I am. With my first it was a planned induction that went sooooo beautifull . Before we started I got the epidural and OMGGGGGGGG everything went amazing for us. So hoping for the same experience.
