So we are calling our little boy, Louie. I like it spelt Louie but boyfriends likes Louis but I just like spelling it with an s an the end people will automatically think his name is Lewis and I don’t like or want that at all!!!!

In the UK most people with pronounce louis like louee like the original French and lewis is lewis but I notice a lot of Americans don’t. I guess it’s just your preference. Go with your gut!!

I went through this exact same problem when I liked it for a bit as an option didn't go with it but I know exactly what you mean!! And I came to conclusion I'd spell it how I wanted it to be said so the one without S x
