What other type of pain management did you use?

I can't receive the epidural and was wondering what other sort of pain management methods the hospital might offer? I asked my doctor a bunch of questions and instead of answering my questions she handed me a paper to schedule an info session at the hospital. I don't want to attend the session, I want my doctor to answer my questions and concerns one on one. I never thought it would be such a hassle.
