How do I know how much weight I need to gain during pregnancy?

I started my pregnancy at 180lbs but due to food aversions and nausea I dropped 14lbs (through 9-15 wks). Then at 15wks I was at 174lbs, at 19wks I got up to 178lbs and yesterday at my 20weeks appointment I was 180lbs again.

Every time I go to my appointments with my OB I go up 2lbs. So, I was wondering how many pounds I need to get through all pregnancy and if that range is ok.
