Are guys just not that excited as us?

Like I was telling the father of my baby that I have my anatomy scan tomorrow. That I’m excited to find out how much little man is weighing , measuring and having pictures of his little toes and etc. I mean am I the only one who’s excited about this? He told me he was sorry that he just wasn’t as excited as I am. 😔

I think a women becomes a mom as soon as we get a positive test where as a man doesn't get that feeling till he's holding that baby in his arms. Just my opinion:)

Mine is the same way. He was like that with our first and now with our second he shows a little more excitement because he’s a dad now. (But it’s very little) Like he got a little teary eyed during our first scan but at the anatomy scan he legit fell asleep. He’s also creeped out by the baby moving. I don’t hold it against him, that’s jus how he is. He was actually worried he wouldn’t love our daughter enough before she was born, there’s a disconnect for a lot of men since they don’t experience being pregnant. Of course now she’s the light of his life and has him wrapped around her little finger.

I don't think a lot of men have the same outward expression about it and don't really get the significance. My husband was very intense in our anatomy scan, but never actually asked any questions or considered the importance of it until well into the third trimester when I would explain to him other people's situations that were not so ideal compared to ours.

My boyfriend has been to every single appointment except for the first one because he had to work. He even cried when they told us we were having a boy. He loves going to the appointments and smiles every time we get to see him. 
I think it just depends on the person.

Idk! I’m only 5 weeks and my man talks to be baby as if the baby can hear him lol. He’s super thrilled. Bought me a bunch of stuff I needed and even made a list of other things I might need in the future. He reads and is well informed about the changes. The only think he says blows his mind and doesn’t know how he will react is when I get big and the baby moves. He says he’s seen alien before lmaooo

Hubby went to every appointment and asked the majority of the questions! I joked that during pregnancy I was just there as the incubator haha
