Vick’s humidifier or regular humidifier?!

Hi guys! So my 5 month old is going thru his first cold! Im looking to get a humidifier. But I was told not to get the one with Vick’s inside. Not sure why. But what do u guys recommend???

I think what they meant is the  vapor steam liquid you can't use. But they sell little  inserts you can use ( lavender eucalyptus  is for babies) I personally like zarbees  chest rub over baby vicks.

I would also suggest the vicks one. They have stuff to add in so you get all the good from the vicks without actually using vicks. I found it extremely useful when my boys were sick because they cant have vicks on their skin

We actually just bought Vick’s one for ourself, it’s just an option to use the Vick’s if you want. I hated the smell of it honestly.

We have a Vick’s humidifier in each bedroom! They’re amazing 😊

Also you can use vicks!! ... there is one for 3months and over and another for 2years old and over I usually put it on at night or on there feet just a little bit and put socks on it helps alot.. here is what I have and the Vick humidifier i use.
