Newborn eating

Hi moms,

My little one and I are 5 days postpartum and I’ve been having some difficulty with breastfeeding. My son latches but I’m not sure if he’s getting anything out. He will still be cranky after feeding so we supplement with formula which seems to help a lot. I’ve been pumping since I’ve gotten engorged and i give him the milk through a bottle. My husband and I have slowly increased his formula intake since he doesn’t seem to always be satisfied and he is up to 150ml.

How much are your babies eating at this point and how far postpartum are you?
