Is it normal to bring your mother along when looking at things like cribs and strollers with your SO for yalls baby? Like I’m kinda afraid if I don’t she’ll be sad and also I wouldn’t mind her input seeing as how she did raise three children herself afterall...

My husband probably would rather I go with my mother and leave him put of shopping for anything period lol

I mean I do look at some baby stuff with my mom once in a while. But I also do most things with my husband even tho he doesn’t really care or know anything about baby things. It’s his baby not my moms .

I take my boyfriend along on everything, but he’s more hands on than most SO. Looking at strollers together are important at least because he might not be comfortable with the height or feel of one. Look at it this way, you two will be using whatever you pick out more than your mom, but that doesn’t mean she can’t come along.

Its whoever your comfortable with. My SO took my mom because shes more sensitive and more open about it than his mom. His mom just cares about the babg being healthy and my mom wants to help us make things easier and my SO and i dont mind

When I registered for my shower, I went with my husband, my mom, and my sister.  I don’t see why you shouldn’t bring your mom.

I did my registry online sitting next to my husband. Me and my mom go out shopping together about once a month so when we are put we just look at stuff while we are out.

My mom came with me when I did my registry. My husband gets anxiety even THINKING about grocery shopping, so there’s no way I expected him to do a registry with me 😂😂

I mean it’s up to you . I do all my baby shopping on my own. I pick it my husband pays for it as he says 😂😂... he said as long as the baby has what ever it needs then what ever I like . 🤷🏼‍♀️ now he will help pick out stuff for our older two .
