Boyfriend help !!!!!

I had my senior night yesterday at my school for cheer and everything was perfect, I wanted to look pretty for pictures so I decided to do my hair .. I straightened my hair (mind you my hair is super curly) and I like the way I looked. After it was over my bf came up to me and asked me why I had straightened my hair and at this point I was frustrated I knew he was going to say that sooner or later so with attitude I said “because it’s my hair and I wanted to straighten it” so after I said that he looked at me and walked away.. we were suppose to go eat after and I waited for him in the car and after we just started arguing and arguing and we never got anywhere. He mentioned a lot of odd things and weird things examples and I asked him to let it go that I was trying to enjoy my night. It was raining hard and we were just yelling at eachother and stuff it was crazy and after he left I cried a lot and I went home. To think it all started with me straightening my hair is so stupid I feel angry and at this point I no longer want to be with him after 10 long months but I wanna try idk after all I did give my virginity to him and him to me... anyways should we just end it ?
