Advice on bringing home baby

FTM here and have no idea what to expect on what life is going to be like once baby comes home. I’m more so wondering on how to go about our mothers. They’re both retired and this is their first grandchild. Not to mention my MIL is a retiring ob nurse (currently works in post natal unit and helps moms breastfeed and recoup) I know they will be chomping at the bit to help with us and our baby girl, but am wondering how long hubby and I should be on our own after bringing home baby- I want to allow bonding, adjusting, etc. 💜
