I had 5 eggs retrieved on Monday. 3 were mature and 2 fertilised overnight. As there were only 2 I was provisionally booked in for transfer today on day 3. But Embryologist called me this morning and said one had only divided to 2 cells and the better one had only divided to 3 cells so they are lagging behind. She said they will put them back in the incubator and book me in for transfer on day 5. But now I’ve been reading up on it I don’t fancy their chances in the lab. Did anyone have any poor grade embroys make progress after day 3? I feel like it might just be getting dragged out now. Apparently they should have 8 cells by now. Please grow little embryos.
