Diclectin?

I’m 8 weeks pregnant. I have had bad morning sickness the last 3 weeks so my doctor prescribed me diclectin.

When I was getting my prescription filled the lady said that only the non name brand version would be covered by my benefits and if I wanted the name brand I would have to pay. But the non name brand version was technically not safe for pregnant women.

So obviously I opted to just pay for the name brand version. But now I’m nervous to take it since the very similar one is not safe.

Has anyone taken this drug before? What was your experience?
