Am I Bad ? 😔

im going to be 36 weeks on friday. 
ive been told im going to have a big baby for awhile because I have GD. I went to my ultrasound today and they measured my baby at 7lb 1oz  already. A doctor also told me today that shes fully developed and if I had her anyday that she would be good! 
SO since shes already 7lbs i kinda just want to give birth before she gets really big. Dont get me wrong of course I would love her no matter what size but i dont want a 10lb baby at birth. Yes there is nothing wrong with it but I just want a baby around 7 or 8 lbs . does that make me a horrible person to want to have her now ?

My sister In law had GD,they said my nephew was over 7lbs at 36 weeks she had him 2 weeks later and he was 6lbs 8oz. They arent always right.

It does not make you a bad mother. I’m worried about having a big baby too for many reasons.

No haha I feel like that is completely normal, I mean it’s not like you really can do anything or make her come out now, but no it’s not bad to feel or want that lol! My doctor wants my baby to be 6 pounds because of how small I am, so she doesn’t want me to gain too much weight. I would probably feel the same if I where you too

My doctors anticipated my first would be 9lbs which would be a big baby for me. I’m very petite. Luckily she was only 7lbs 6 oz.

My son was suppose to be over 9lbs, and his head measured over 2 weeks ahead. He was born 2 days before his due date, 7lb4oz. 
The scans are just estimates. Remember that every day baby spends inside, is another day to develop their breathing and such. I would wait as long as you possibly can. Personally, I wouldn’t ask to be induced unless it was the day past my due date or after

They told me that too!! My doctor thought for sure he was going to be a heavy eight. Ended up with a c-section at a little over 38 weeks. He was 7pounds and 14 ounces. And the doctor was surprised!! Lol Don’t worry about it!! You will do fine!!

Try to not pay too much attention to the weights. My belly was tiny and I only gained 8 lbs so they did an ultrasound and my son measured small but he was born at 38 weeks at 7 lbs 15 oz. my daughter (I conceived 5 months postpartum and only gained 6 lbs and in small to begin with) they thought was going to be big bc she measured 6 lbs 3 oz at 34 weeks 6 days.... she was born at 36 weeks 6 days (2 weeks later) and was 6 lbs even and based on their measurements they estimated her to be 7 1/2 lbs

Honestly,  I am diabetic and was told my son was measuring ahead and was gonna be a big baby.  My last ultrasound around 36 weeks,  the tech told me they were guessing he was gonna be about 10 pound baby.  I gave birth to my son, vaginally, he came out at a whopping 6 pounds 14 oz. I don't take what the techs say to heart because of the fact my son was so small when he was born.  That was 4 years ago,  this is him then and now. And now I am 22wks with baby#2 finding out tomorrow if we'r are going to have a boy or a girl💗

They told my SIL baby would be huge. At least 8 lbs. She is like a size 0. Baby was 6lb.  🤷🏼‍♀️
