Calorie question for the active mamas!
Pre-pregnancy I was used to eating 1700 calories a day, Im 5’7” 155 lbs and a normal BMI so my doctor said bump to 1800 first tri, 1900 second tri & 2000 third tri. So currently I’m eating about 1800-1900 calories a day at 13w3d. However, I’ve still been going to the gym 3-4 days a week and my workouts are burning 400-700 calories depending on the day. Do I have to eat any extra on the days that I workout or is it safe to continue my 1800-1900 calories even after I’ve burned 500+ calories at the gym? I’ve just noticed lately it seems like my body is asking for more on workout days but I don’t want to over eat like I did with my last pregnancy. Thanks! 😊💪🏼
