Exchanging diapers

Anybody ever had issues exchanging diapers at Walmart? This was my first time but first got told a $$ amount so I went got different diapers and then a different lady told me that I could only do exchanges up to $50 and that was without tax and couldn’t exchange the rest of the ones I had planned to exchange. Also I had a box of pampers and they said it’s not from their but I clearly looked them up and it says it’s from Walmart..
