Did birth control pills gave you side effects?

I’m with my boyfriend since July and now I’m starting to think about taking pills. 
I’ve heard some side effects rumors and I am stressed about it
Can you share how you feel about those pills with me please?

On the combo pill, I had slightly sore boobs for a week but after that had absolutely zero side effects. No weight gain, no acne, I love it

I’ve tried two different kinds before ttc and bfp. They both messed with me I bled for thirty days with them both. My doctor kept telling me to wait it out and I know it’s a normal side effect. But effing really 30 days?! I’ll use a condom thanks.

Side effects can differ from person to person and pill to pill.  I've taken some and not had any side effects, but have also taken some that made my mental state plummet so badly that I almost felt I had to check into a mental hospital.  My current one, I'm spotting much more than I'd like yet other people really like the kind I'm currently taking.
The best thing is to just keep an open mind going in and don't be afraid to tell your doctor that something isn't working for you.

Age of 14 to 25 i been on the pill at least 5 different  ones and I had the same side effect on all of then it was just grumpy  very moody but everyone is different  so you might not get any or you might  the only way to tell is if you take them  if you do go on it and you get side effects that you dont want or your emotional really bad you can tell your doctor and ask to go on different  one
