What to expect at first appointment?

What should I expect at my first appointment? I will be 8 weeks and go on 1/29 and is my first child and have no idea what to expect! Thank you!

My first appointment is 1/28, I'll be 8 weeks and I can expect blood work and an ultrasound, possibly an exam I'm not sure. Every doctor is different though. Congratulations!

I did my history and a dating scan. Lots of blood takin! I think it just depends on your ob? I technically wasn’t supposed to get an ultrasound but they seen I was a nervous wreck ( has a miscarriage 6 months ago) and she said she will sneak me in for an ultrasound to ease my mind!

My first appt just confirmed I was pregnant but I was only 4 w and 4 days. The next appt is feb 11, and I’m going for ultrasound and then to speak with the doctor, every ob operates there own way!

I know my ob has a nurse ask a million questions and they give out a packet with different information. Then I see a doctor for a few minutes to go over any questions.

Following! I had an early ultrasound today and we saw baby and heartbeat. I have my 8 week appointment in February with the nurse so go over history etc. does anyone have an ultrasound then? Just trying to figure out when to have my husband come with me to see the little bean!
