Which do you do at the hair salon?

When your stylist is shampooing your hair, do you keep your eyes open or closed? I feel so awkward either way! I don't go to the salon often, so that may be why, but still. I need to know which one makes me look less awkward!

Closed, it's  freaking weird and creepy to have your eyes open.   This is coming from a stylist

I’m a hair stylist and most people close their eyes, i did however have this one client tho who kept opening their eyes, which is fine, but she kept making eye contact with me which was weird lol

Open.  We’re usually chatting the whole time and catching up

I close my eyes because sometimes they get water in my face by accident I rather not have my eyes open when it happens and for me I automatically close my eyes when I was my hair
