Nitrous oxide for labor?

The hospital I'm delivering at provides nitrous oxide as a pain reliever during labor (doesnt actually take away pain but supposed to make you not care about the pain). 
Has anyone ever tried it? What were your experiences with it?

That stuff is brilliant! That's all I used with my rainbow, he came to quickly for them to start me on the good drugs 😂
I completely forgot about the pain, I still felt every part of it but it was just a fog and I can't remember it now only little bits, like if you're drunk and wake up the next morning with only some clue as to what happened

I think that might be gas + air we get that in the uk for pain relief. It’s all I used for both my labours it’s great takes your mind of contractions and regulates your breathing. That’s what it did for me. It does make you feel slightly drunk if you take it after you have had the baby but the feelings gone as fast as you breathe it in and out really.
