Flu Jab

For anyone on the fence about getting the flu jab while pregnant, please please consider it.

I ended up with the flu only a week after finding out I was pregnant so I hadn’t had a chance to have the vaccine. My oxygen levels plummeted, my heart rate was sky high and I was hospitalised with a suspected blood clot in my lung. It’s taken me so long to recover.

Quite frankly I’m lucky I’m still pregnant as I was seriously ill.

So if this post convinces just a handful of people then it was worth it!
