When do they check for stds and which ones

I know they do but when do they do that in pregnancy?? And which ones do they check for.

They test at first appt(usually) for all stds. Then again at 28 weeks for syphillis and hiv(depending on state you live in).

They did it my first appt (17 weeks bc of insurance issues)

I had mine done at 9 weeks. HIV, syphillis, hepatitis ... if you decline they will ask again around 20 weeks.
