Stomach question

Okay, so I was 6 months PP on January 18th. I’m still very overweight, working on that, I’m on weight watchers. However, the upper part of my stomach, between boobs and belly button, is still “hard” feeling, especially when I’m standing, like I still look pregnant, it almost feels like pressing on an over inflated balloon and it bounces back, if that makes sense. I didn’t notice anything at my 4 week checkup, I was still so fresh, but even if I did I would’ve written it off as “I just had a baby, it’ll go down”. I didn’t have that with my first, I was heavy before getting pregnant, but it was really my lower stomach, my upper stomach/natural waist has always been smaller. Idk. I’ve googled it but can’t find anything except diastasis recti, which I’m pretty positive isn’t the issue. I mean, it’s not possible for my uterus to not have contracted down right? I would’ve surely had some side effects and things going on if that were the case.
