Too early to be excited?

At 4wks and 1 day, is it too early to be excited?? I want so badly to be excited, we have told our immediate families and they’re all excited too.. I just worry about the chances of miscarriage.. when do you guys think it’s safe to breathe deep and realize this is really happening??

I feel the same! We haven’t told anyone yet. I’m guessing I will feel better once I hit that 13 week mark. 🤞🏻

You can for sure be excited! I felt more confident when I heard a strong heartbeat at 6 weeks but I didn’t really feel like I was out of the woods until my second trimester. Congratulations!

I had an early scan at 7 weeks and 3 days and everything was fine so I told family and friends. Then at 10 weeks I had a miscarriage, baby stopped growing at 7 weeks and 5 days, this was my forth pregnancy and only miscarriage so I never thought it would happen. I would wait until you are the 12 weeks.

I wanna be excited too but I feel it is too early... I'm just like you, supposedly a little over 4 weeks. It's too worrisome thinking about what could happen before the second trimester to feel complete excitement. I work with young children, so I gotta be extra cautious.
