PLEASE HELP!!

So I first tested positive on Jan 4th and my last period was Dec 10th... so I would be 6weeks 4days today.

I had a vaginal ultra sound today and my OB said I might only be 5 weeks and probably ovulated a little late reason why I might not see anything on the ultrasound because it’s too early. I have another ultrasound next Friday to see if anything will show 😭😭

Has this ever happened to anyone and had a normal pregnancy?? What could this mean?🤧
