Does it hurt when they check your cervix? If so how? What does it feel like?

Hurt me. Gave me bad cramps.

It didn’t hurt to me. It was similar to getting a vaginal ultrasound.... But a finger..... Lol

Depends who did it. My dr (male) just did today was very gentle and I had no bleeding after. When I was in the hosp and the nurse did yes it hurt like hell and I bled after. Feels like to me men are more gentle when doing it.

It only hurt 1 time to have my cervix checked. This was when I was finally in labor and went to the hospital. They took me back to the area where they check you to see if you should be admitted or sent home, the nurse was huffy because I was walking and talking just fine, so she didn’t believe I was in labor. I’m not sure if she thought she was a big dog and trying to teach me a lesson because she thought I wasn’t really in labor, but she was super rough. It hurt so bad I puked afterwards. I was only dilated to a 3 but I felt off and that’s the reason I went in even though my contractions weren’t bad yet. Good thing I did go, my BP was super high and was making me shaky and light headed.

No but I was 8cm dilated so that was the least of my worries.
