Trying to pump before delivery

I’m 39+5, trying to pump to help baby.

- I failed bfing with my first because my milk took 8 days to come in, I was emotionally traumatized by then.

- I want to have something to give her in the first few days.

- I want to induce labor if at all possible lol.

I tried yesterday, nothing.

I tried today, nothing from 1 boob, 1 drop (literally one drop) from other boob.

How are some mamas collecting so much pumped milk before baby is born?!

- how long should I pump each breast? how many times a day? Is this all pointless since I didn’t deliver yet?
