When does the fear go away?

I’ve seen my baby three time now (6w,7w,8w) always measuring ahead of where I’m supposed to be - always a good heartbeat - but with every cramp I’m nervous that I’m miscarrying again. I need to trust the Lord with his baby, any advice?

My rainbow baby was born in Dec and is 1 month old today. The fear got less and less pronounced with each dr visit confirming everything was still okay. A big milestone was the 12 week, then 20 week anatomy scan, then once I could feel regular kicks. The worry never completely left me, but it got less powerful as things started to feel more real. Some things that helped were distraction, focusing on how this is a different pregnancy, and being careful about my use on this site so I didn’t focus too much on all that could go wrong.

I hate to say it never goes away. I’ve lost 5 and am 19 weeks pregnant. I worry daily. Pray daily. And take each day as it comes.  Good luck and congratulations.

I’m 29 week pregnant and I still get scared. Even though my first pregnancy is now a healthy 2yo, I still get so nervous with our rainbow. I can’t say if it goes away but it did get easier once we passed our loss date, hit the second trimester, and have hit viability milestones.

I lost a baby in March of last year, I am currently 30 weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby due in April. The first 11 weeks I was worried about miscarriage. Then 12 weeks to 19 weeks I was worried something would be wrong with the anatomy scan. Then 20 weeks to 23 weeks I was worried about preterm labor now I’m worried about have a stillborn. Maybe it’s just me but this worry wont go away until she’s safely in my arms. It’s parenthood, you worry about your kids, I think it’s harder after you’ve had a loss. We weren’t expecting a loss but it happened. Just try to relax and think positive you’ll get through this. Just take it one day at a time.

It never goes away. I just got discharged today because at 31 weeks I was having contractions. Luckily they were able to stop them. But the fear will never go away.

I say after 12 weeks... but only because i got a fetal doppler after 12 weeks, now anytime im nervous or scares, i grab it and find babys heartbeat and it makes me feel much better.

Honestly I started to feel better about 18 weeks after the first few times I started feeling her move around & then a lot better after our anatomy scan!
But I still worry & I think that’s just normal especially if you’re a new momma (like myself) 💗💗💗
