Support for partner starting anti depressants

Hi

So my husband has been depressed a few years. He’s FINALLY gone to therapy and the doctor recommended meds.

We’re both nervous. How will this affect our relationship ? What can we expect ? Anyone have experience with this? What do I need to do/know as his support person.

I think he should take the meds and see how they work he’s so nervous to but it’s been 4 years can’t keep a job been sleeping all the time moody and talks about ending his life etc. I really think he needs this along with continued therapy.
