Losing virginity

Say I was ready to lose my virginity to a certain guy I’ve been talking to for a few months. I feel comfortable and I’m on birth control but I have two things that I’m worried about. One, I don’t know why but I don’t really get wet. Is there a way I could fix this because the gyno just told me I needed to do longer foreplay. Second, I’m a little nervous about the pain. Would be great to hear tips and answers.
