My 7month old baby doesn’t want solids?

My LO is breastfed baby. We started to get him solids when he turned 6 months. In the beginning he would eat. We have him purés some chicken, eggs some stuff I eat. He was doing good but now he doesn’t want it I give him purées and he doesn’t want. Is been like this for two days now. He still takes the boob. My husband thinks I should give his the boob less I told him no that’s not how it works. Right? Lol any advice on what’s going on?

You are right not to reduce his milk. Solids are a just bonus until a year old.

It might be the purees. My daughter is 7.5 month and the only puree-like thing she'll eat is oatmeal. Other than that, she wants chunks of stuff. Chicken thighs work well for that. I've also made her sweet potato fries and butternut squash, as well as baby carrots. The key is to make the items long, like fries, so it sticks out of one end of their hands. Also, don't be afraid to season! Salt is a no-go, but other stuff is usually a huge hit. And solids aren't just a bonus right now. Milk should be their primary food, but solids are important too.

Milk should still be #1! Could be teething or illness. Keep offering food but don’t stress if they don’t eat it.

Sounds like teething.  Even if it's not things they have to chew it seems like they don't want anything but breast or bottle while teething.

My son recently went off his solids and it turned out it was because he was teething and his first tooth broke through maybe it could be something to do with that
