FTM here! Had my baby 3 days ago and the swelling is not going down. Should I go see a doctor? Or is this normal?

It took about 4-5 days for me feet and legs to go down.
Keep them up as much as possible and drink lots and lots of water.

I had minor swelling when I was pregnant but after coming home from the hospital my feet blew up so bad they started to hurt. It lasted about 4-5 days, 6 at the most and finally went down. I drank lots of water to get rid of the pitocin and other meds in my system and I soaked my feet in warm water with epsom salt.

Sooooo much water goes into the feet and legs.. drink way more water than you think you need and elevate your legs often.. once they go down you’re gonna be so weirded out at how bony and skinny the feet look

Definitely check with a medical professional.. but for anecdotal purposes, my ankles were like this for a good 3-4 days after having my babe.
