Last Saturday at my 8wk ultrasound I was measuring 4-5wks with yolk sac. Doctor said pregnancy wasn’t viable as we’re sure of my dates and at 8wks there should have been a heartbeat. Started spotting on Wednesday and by Friday bleeding was light to medium flow with clots. Of course I thought I was miscarrying so I went in today to see if it was all out. Ultrasound showed fetal pole with cardiac activity and 5cm subchoronic hematoma but still measuring 5wks. I don’t have much hope but presence of fetal pole is alarming. Bleeding has subsided so I’m even more confused. Waiting to hear from my doctor on Monday but I wanted to know if anyone had any similar experience? I really think I might have a blood clotting problem and will ask for heparin next pregnancy. Btw, this would be my third early loss and no baby yet
