TTC IUD removed over 10yrs and still not pregnant

Hi everyone,I need help with alot of questions.i just got married a month ago and I was hoping to get pregnant with the blessing of God..Actually I was on IUD about 10years ago when I was in high school after my first pregnancy which I aborted since I was in school and wasnt ready for that. i was on it for about 2yrs then had to get it removed cause I was in alot of pelvic pain.i had to be taken to the hospital,get a lot of medications and had to wait until I'm on my next cycle to take it out cause I was in alot of pain,they finally did had it removed and refuse to take any other birth control methods and since that I haven't gotten pregnant.i was on no birth control or neither practicing any safe sex. I was having continued pelvic pains which seem chronic and I had to see a doctor,she sent me for an ultrasound and result reads that everything was fine and I was put on birth control pill for some months for hormonal balance and went off on it cause I was starting to gain weight.And up till now I'm not pregnant and still trying but very scared,I'm just believing in God that I will be pregnant.

My question is can IUD be the problem and are there any procedures I should try out.please I really need answers
