Anyone had blood work?

What were your white blood cell and white blood cell counts ?
Mine were within normal limits but my wbc was at the top end and end at the very bottom.  Wondering if they should be more evenly matched. Also having low rbc puts you at risk for blood transfusion after birth. Thoughts?

I’m 24 weeks and recently had a high WBC count which resolved after receiving 2 bags of fluid via IV. Likely dehydration caused the high counts on my part so this could be a possibility, as all my other tests came back normal / no signs of infection anywhere which is typically why WBC counts are elevated.

They would look more at your hemoglobin and hematocrit prior to a blood transfusion. If your RBC isn't below normal range, I wouldn't be worried at all. Especially if hgb and hct are within normal limits. As far as wbc, as long as they're within normal limits, it's not concerning. Even slightly elevated may just mean your body is fighting something, but isn't overly concerning without other symptoms.

It’s normal for WBC’s to be high in pregnancy and for rbcs to go low ur dr would call if they were concerned
