Someone explain this!?

I got this new brand of ovulation test and from what I’m reading, if any line shows up it is positive. It says nothing about the surge only being if the test is darker than the control. Confused....

Maybe it's there way of Making sure you won't miss your most fertile days. But in that case u might as well just have sex every other day after your period stops til the expected period start day. But when I get my first positive opk both lines are the same in contrast which is two days before ovulation the peak day is when the test line is darker than control then on ovulation day it goes back to as dark as then after i ovulate it goes blank but it took me months to figure that out. Best of luck though. And for best results I'd do as those say as I always follow the brand's instructions as they're all different.
