Tips on changing nose piercing?

6 months for me is next month, but I was planning on waiting until March just to be sure my nose is healed. I have a stud now but I want to go to a hoop. Is it pretty easy to change? I’ve been watching videos on YouTube but want other opinions

I had a hard time at first but I did end up finding a hoop that kind of stretches and it was a lot easier to start with and now I can put a regular hoop in with no issues

I’ve never had a nostril piercing which is what I’m assuming you have from the way you described changing it but I have a lot of experience having piercings. My technique whenever I change a piercing for the first time, if I’m nervous about it, i usually line up the end of the piercing that’s going to come out with the one you’re going to put it and use the new to push out the old one and that will basically guide the new piercing in easier
