Decreased fetal movements?

Question

Has anyone else had decreased fetal movements around 31 weeks? Since the day before I was 31 weeks I have a lot less movements. I still feel the baby move but nothing near as hard or as many times as it was before then. I don’t ever remember having this with my other two kids.

Start counting kicks. 
They shouldn’t decrease, but it will change from hard jabs to more stretching/pushing feeling as they have less space.

I think this happens a lot the farther along you get. And it's not actually decreased movement, baby is just running out of space, so different movement. Just do kick counts if you're concerned, or contact your doc just to be sure 😊

I would definitely do kick counts to check but I have had the same experience over the past several weeks. I am 35 weeks on Monday. I'll have a few days where he doesn't seem that active and then all of a sudden he won't settle down! If baby's not passing kick counts though then you need to call the doc right away.
