Cramping

I've never had (or maybe just never noticed) ovulation pain but got positive opk yesterday and now am having lower abdominal pain on the right. It's been going on for a few hours and hurts pretty bad like period cramps. Does this sound like ovulation pain or something else? Hoping not ovulating on the right because I had an ectopic pregnancy in May and my right tube was removed so I was told I can only get pregnant in months that I ovulate on the left.
