My son has been scratching at his back side for a few weeks now. It’s first kinda seemed like just dry skin. I cut down bath time to every other day and made sure to lotion him up with aquaphor and it really helped. It comes back every now and then, especially if He gets bathed more. But it seems worse lately and tonight there were some red dots and he really really really itched. We did open a new box of diapers recently (same brand as we’ve used since birth) and for diaper changes I use baby powder since it’s the only thing that helps prevent diaper rash. So I’m wondering if that’s making him super dry back there.

Any other suggestions?
