So my son has been EBF for 15 months now (other than solids) he has never had a hard time latching. We went to his second dentist appointment and they said that he has ‘Lip Tie’ and that is what is causing his two front to have a gap. They said it’s a minor surgery and they will use a laser to release the tissue. I guess I’m coming on here to ask if anyone else’s little one has experienced this “surgery”? I have been over thinking and afraid he won’t have his same smile or it will hurt him terrible or there will be nerve damage 😭
