Help I’m confused

I’ve been speaking to this guy for a couple months and we both like each other. He’s currently drunk and messaging me saying I’m gorgeous and shit. Idk what to do now that I’m thinking about it I’m not sure if I’m ready for a relationship as I’ve never been in one but he has. What would I say if he was to ask me out? Help I’m a mess. I haven’t lead him on, I have feelings for him and I wouldn’t want to see him get hurt
