Why cant he get it

Question

I have recently been diagnosed with celiac. I have told him I cant have gluten anymore. Why does he keep asking to eat at fast food places and wants to order pizza. He asks what's for dinner every day and I tell him my menu which he doesnt like and wants me to make 2 meals. Wouldnt mind the 2 meals but I take care of the 8 month old so it then becomes a task. He doesnt understand the seriousness of going gluten free for me.

I think you should just worry about making your own meals and let him worry about his. Let him get his pizza or fast food. You can each be responsible for yourselves.

Although I think he's not being very sympathetic to you new diet restrictions.  You don't have to go to the fast food places with him. Just say no? If he wants to order pizza then you already know the meal you were planning on making wouldn't have to be something he likes.

Ugh that sucks! I have celiac too and it’s very serious. Maybe you could print out some articles or show him some videos about celiac? If you aren’t strictly gluten free, you have a 3 times higher risk of cancer. It’s not like you’re choosing to eat gluten free for fun
