What to buy?

Did you buy anything for your baby before the baby shower? Or waited to buy things after the baby shower?

Yes but a lot of people buy off the registries now days be prepared to get a lot of clothes.

Only diapers and wipes. Glad I didn’t buy anything else. She got so many clothes and bottles and other items we were gonna buy. But she will grow out of many of the clothes quick so no need to buy all that. Oh yea, we bought blankets and burp clothes just cause I know we will need a lot of those.

I bought some stuff for her room (artwork, an end table, dresser). But I didn’t buy any clothes or the stuff on my registry.

Only diapers, a reach arm cosleeper and a glider chair.

Diapers , wipes , soap , lotion and white onesies and outfits ... never rely solely on baby shower for everything

Lots of things. Basically we built our registry anf then as we found good deals and sales on bigger items we bought them. Now we have almost all the big things (didnt expect family to buy that stuff anyway).
We also have been stocking up on diapers and wipes because we know we will need tons.
